23cm UKAC Overall Results 2015.

Another excellent year for the 23cm UKAC with the highest activity and entry level to date. 2015 saw one month with 101 entries and another with 172 active stations on the band. A total of 23900 QSO's were made during the year which is a very impressive level.

Bolton Wireless Club dominate the Club table with 16 active stations giving them an overall lead of in excess of 10,000 points. Travelling Wave Contest Group made second place with their team of 13 stations and are still over 11,000 points ahead of the third placed club, Spalding & DARS.

In the AO section, John G3XDY leads with being section winner for all eight of the qualifying sessions earning him the full 8,000 points. Not far behind in second place, are South Birmingham Radio Society who won three of the qualifying sessions gaining 7,606 points.

Tony, G4NBS wins the AR section with a session win and keeping close to the top of the table for the rest of the eight qualifying sessions. Just 130 points behind but with five session wins in second place are the Camb-Hams club station G3PYE/P.

The most popular section, AL with 125 entries, was won by Rob G0PEB/P winning four sessions. Close to Rob was Erik G8XVJ(/P) who managed a total of five session wins for an overall second place.

  • AL Section Leading Intermediate Station - Roger Rimmer, 2E0BMO
